I’m Dr. Amy Strickman, and I help high-achieving professionals and leaders just like you — people who have everything it takes to think clearly, act confidently, and feel in control again, but simply need the right support and strategy to get there.

My training as a Clinical Psychologist, combined with my experience as a Peak Performance Coach and Former Naval Officer, means you’ll receive the level of expertise you deserve when you’re navigating overwhelm, mental overload, burnout, or high-pressure decision-making. My mission

I’ve spent my entire adult life in high-pressure environments — first as a Naval Officer, then as a Clinical Psychologist, and now as a Peak Performance Coach. In every chapter of my career, I kept seeing the same pattern: incredibly capable, hardworking people quietly struggling under the weight of expectations, overwhelmed by decisions, and pushing through stress long after their mind and body were asking them to slow down.

Even among the highest performers, the pressure to hold everything together can be crushing.

I saw what happens when smart, talented professionals carry more than they talk about — the overthinking, the mental overload, the constant self-pressure, the fear of dropping the ball, the “I’ll figure it out later” coping that eventually catches up. I watched people lead teams with confidence while feeling lost internally, and I saw how deeply it affected their work, their relationships, their health, and the way they saw themselves.

And I understood it — not just clinically, but personally.

I know what it feels like to be relied on, to show up strong for others, to make decisions under pressure, and to keep going even when life feels heavy. I know what it’s like to have a public image of competence while privately wrestling with uncertainty, fear, or exhaustion. I’ve lived inside environments where composure and performance were non-negotiable, and I’ve witnessed how quickly clarity and confidence can erode when the pressure never stops.

This work matters to me because I believe that high achievers deserve support too — real, meaningful support that helps them think clearly, make confident decisions, and regain control of their inner world.
